Psychodynamic Therapist
Kate Lewis (MBACP)
I am a BACP-registered Psychodynamic Therapist providing professional, confidential psychotherapy and counselling services in Buckhurst Hill & Chelmsford, Essex, as well as Online.
I specialise in working with clients who seem to operate at a high level but are silently struggling. Are you consuming all the podcasts, following all the mental health advice out there but feeling more anxious, more burnt out than ever. Does it feel as though you are finding it harder to access your own inner voice to support you through challenges? My role in therapy is to assist you in discovering your own voice so you can grow. Change and growth occur within the boundaries of a therapeutic relationship, where you can reflect on your thoughts and worries, allowing them to transform. This process helps you understand yourself, your motivations, and your fears, ultimately encouraging a sense of growth and healing.
Most of my work is online via Zoom, allowing greater flexibility to reach clients across the UK and beyond.
However, if you are looking for in-person therapy, I can offer this from my private therapy room in Buckhurst Hill and Chelmsford, Essex.
How therapy can help Areas where therapy can offer meaningful support
Psychotherapy offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to understand yourself and navigate life’s challenges. It can ease the weight of depression, help you build practical tools to cope with anxiety, and provide guidance through major life transitions. Therapy also supports you in processing grief and healing from trauma at your own pace. Over time, it can reduce burnout and overwhelm by helping you develop healthier boundaries, clearer perspectives, and more sustainable ways of living.
