FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions about Therapy.
What issues can therapy help with?
Therapy can support you with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, or life transitions. It can also be a space for self-discovery and personal growth, helping you better understand yourself and make positive changes in your life.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies from person to person. Some people find a few sessions helpful to address a specific issue, while others prefer longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and ongoing support. We’ll review your progress together regularly to ensure the pace and focus of therapy feel right for you.
What can I expect in a therapy session?
Sessions provide a safe, confidential space to talk openly about what’s troubling you. We’ll explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings at your own pace. My role is to listen without judgment and help you gain new insights and ways of coping. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is tailored to your individual needs.
How do I book a session and what are your fees?
You can get in touch with me via the contact form on this website or email me directly to arrange an initial session. My standard fee is £65 for online or phone sessions, and £70 for in-person sessions. In-person sessions will be from my private treatment room at the Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Buckhurst Hill, IG9- Concession rates may be available.
